Our client is one of Australia’s largest suppliers of roof tiles, and they are currently seeking experience floor operators to join their team. This role will have you complete a rotation of tasks, being responsible for ensuring smooth operations on the production line as well as utilising the forklift to maintain an organized yard. You will be part of either the afternoon or night shift team working out of their warehouse based in Dandenong South.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working on the production line and monitoring tile quality
  • Relocating damaged tiles
  • Consistent manual handling of tiles (up to 5kg)
  • Changing colour oxides and ensuring the colour shed is clean and organized
  • Monitor and empty waste bins as required
  • Operating a counterbalance forklift to move pallets of tiles from the warehouse into the yard
  • Ensuring pallets of products are labelled and stored correctly in their designated area in the yard
  • Cleaning, sweeping and maintaining a clean work environment


About you:

  • Hold a valid forklift license and experience
  • Have had similar experience in a production environment
  • Confident in standing on your feet all shift and conducting manual handling
  • Able to commit to working 5 days a week
  • Available for either Afternoon (2.00PM - 10.00PM) or Night shifts (10.00PM - 6.00AM)
  • Able to complete a pre-employment drug & alcohol test
